CompuTractor uses data sent on control channels in the AMPS cellular telephone system. This technology is now available in most areas of North America (contact CompuTracker for coverage diagrams). This system is ideal for short messages provided at very low cost and with ranges greater than conventional analog AMPS cellular telephones.
